Ultra Simple File Library

I don’t know about you, but each week I have files I need to share with the worship team. Videos, pictures, worship song samples, slide backgrounds, spreadsheets, word files, sermons, presentations, the list goes on and on….

Our talented developer, Christopher, has put the finishing touches on the file library feature. You can upload files, assign categories, add a description among other features. In the end, it means you’re team can upload and pull down the files you need to get through each week!

If you’re interested in the details, we’re using Amazon’s S3 service to store and retrieve files.

Account Sign-Up Complete

We thought one of the better places to start is by creating a user account. While we’re not going to release all the juicy details, the sign-up functionality is complete.

Each church can have their unique domain name: http://churchname.worshiprelay.com

After inputting your contact details your 30 day trial will start.  No approval, no wait time, you can jump right in to see if Worship Relay is right for you!

Billing Connected

While we’d love to push Worship Relay out for free, alas we need to make a few bucks from it to pay for servers and continue adding new features. Each account will have a 30 day free, no obligation trial period before we start charging money.

When that day comes, a new service called ‘Spreedly‘ will be handling our account details. If you’re into web 2.0 applications, you may want to check it out. Although the fees can be little stiff, it’s easy to set-up and works great with Worship Relay.

It hooks in to our PayPal account to provide simple, subscription based payment. This option was much easier to integrate then higher priced gateways.

Welcome to Worship Relay

I’m excited to launch our update blog. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to launch Worship Relay and we’ve made enough progress to share our results with the world.

Stay tuned for updates and announcements in the coming weeks as we march towards a public launch.
